Vanetta Jordan's Story

Vanetta Jordan is a Brewster Methodist Hospital baby, who was born on a Monday in August of 1960.

Jordan has been with UF Health Jacksonville for 10 years. She is pleased she’s had the opportunity to work at the downtown campus and now the UF Health North campus.

Before joining UF Health, Jordan spent 22 years at Prudential and Allstate. She enjoys a shorter commute now, along with her work in admissions.

Jordan thinks about how much the hospital has evolved since the days of Brewster Methodist.

“There have been so many changes with it becoming Methodist and then everything combining to be Shands before the name changed to UF Health Jacksonville,” Jordan said. “And now, we have UF Health North. Lots of changes for the good of the organization.”
